From this activity i learned the different ways that you can muniltiplate a trig function and what the different trig values are. I also learned that you dont have to start with an equals to the equation you can just solve it anyway you want and in the end after you muniplulate it based on the trig values and what they equal you can make what it is equal too.
The biggest challenge for me at first was finding the values in radians on the unit circle, that is the major key to being able to find values and answers. I used the conversion to get to degrees to find where points are. But after a while I started to remember where they were by their radian form. This activity helped me see how the Cartesian plane and the unit circle are linked. When you are finding a angle on the Circle you are also finding it on the plane. During the assessment I handled not having help from the teacher by, knowing the values on the circle and then also knowing that the radius of the circle is 1 unit. It was also useful knowing the Rise/run equals Sin/cos. To finish the problem without the teacher it was helpful knowing soh cah toa, along with csc, sec and cot. The biggest takeaway I got from this is how they are linked and how you get the same answer from using the plane or the circle.
